FarmFest and AgQuip 2026 wrap

Update from FarmFest and AgQuip by Derek Genoni.

FarmFest Field Day held at Toowoomba in Queensland in early June continues to grow as a large annual event for Southern Queenslanders. Gendore has supported this field day for a long time now, and we saw another good event delivered.

This year we released the new 6m Tyson Rotary Hoe from Alpego, with the unit gaining quite a bit of interest on site.

It was very dry across the Darling Downs, with most farmers waiting for the weather to break before committing to invest in new machinery. However, we saw strong interest from customers wanting to see the big hoe demonstrated in cotton and mixed grain growing applications.

We received some terrific feedback from those in further north in Queensland and from Northern NSW on our Taege direct drills and air seeders and Arcusin bale handling gear.

After FarmFest, we headed to Agquip at Gunnedah in Northern NSW, with David kept busy with plenty of inquiry on both Taege air seeders and Arcusin E14 bale bundlers.

There is no doubt that bale bundling is bringing back interest in small square bales.
